The Financial department of the Auditor's Office is responsible for::

• Accounts Payable

• Payroll & Direct Deposit

• General Ledger

• Accounts Receivable

• Grant Administration

• Spring Abstract

• Spring and Fall Distributions to County Units

General Purpose:

• Assist the Elected Official in the process of auditing the claims submitted by the various units of the county for correctness and appropriate spending procedures.

• Preparing the advertisement of claims to be paid.

• Prepare and distribute the weekly payroll including taxes, benefits and deductions.

• Receive and post all incoming monies.

• Maintain several different tax and grant funds for auditing purposes.

• Prepare and maintain the annual operating budget.

• Balance and Distribute all taxes and funds collected due to the county    townships, libraries, cities, and schools.
