The Mapping/Property Department of the Auditor's Office is responsible for:

• Maintains Current Property Owners for Assessment and Taxation

•  Keeps Tax Maps Current

•  Maintains Subdivisions, Street Names, Splits, Combinations, and Annexations

•  Maintains Aerial Plat Book

•  Keeps a Property Record History 

• Uses AutoCAD to Maintain the GIS System

• Transfers Deeds

•  Proofs Metes and Bounds Descriptions  

• Processes the Change of Address Forms 

• Determination of City and County Lots of Records

• Certify Signatures for Petitions
