I am

provide you with information about the Circuit Court Clerk's
office and to help you better utilize the services and resources
of the Clerk's Office.
In Indiana
the State Constitution creates the office of "Clerk of the
Circuit Court" as the official name of the officer who keeps the
records of courts of the counties. The terms "County
Clerk" and "Clerk of the Circuit Court are often used
interchangeably. The Clerk is elected by the residents of
Howard County and is limited to serving two consecutive terms in
office.
The goal
of the Circuit Clerk's Office is to serve the citizens of Howard
County in a timely and cost effective manner, providing all
court records, information and services with courtesy,
efficiency and impartiality.
