To
register to vote in Indiana, you must complete a voter
registration application. You must provide your name,
residential address, voter identification number, birth date and
signature. Your Identification number is your driver's license
number or state ID card. If you do not have a license or
ID number, your voter identification number will be the last
four digits of your Social Security Number.
The
deadline to register to vote is 29 days before the primary or
general election.
If you
need assistance in voting, you may choose someone to help you,
or two poll workers (one of each major political party) will be
available to assist you.
If you
have a question about your polling site or if you are registered
to vote, you may also call the Voter Registration Office
(456-2219).
